After compiling a comprehensive photo history of Dr Barnardo's Homes in Australia, I have collated all the research material I have collected from many sources, publications, newspaper items, donated items from friends and interviews over many years. .  I thought I should leave a record of Dr Barnardo’s in Australia as it is part of our Australian History, following  the closure of the migration scheme in 1965.
